PROMISE #176 - JUNE 25
Promise #176:
My name is a strong tower that you can run to and find safety.

The name of Yahweh is a strong tower:
the righteous run to him, and are safe.
The name of our Lord and God is a strong tower, a mighty fortress we can run to at any time, day or night, and find safety. Psalm 91 describes this strong tower as 'the secret place of the Most High.' It is a place where we can stay for our entire lives, dwelling under the shadow of the Almighty.
Many of the anxieties we experience in our society stem from a lack of safety and security. God is our strong tower! We can rest assured that safety is found within the borders of His love. What father wouldn't have a heart to protect his children?
God is the perfect Father and promises to be there for us as a fortress we can depend on for shelter. When I contemplate this promise, I feel peace in my heart knowing that I have a safe place to go, and so do you!

Responsive Prayer:
Father, thank You for being my strong tower where I can find safety and shelter from every storm I face in life. I pray that this promise becomes more real to me now than ever before, regardless of the challenges I encounter today, so that Your perfect peace will guide my heart and mind.
