PROMISE #108 - APRIL 18
Promise #108:
You can trust in Me, for I am your strength and your song.
Isaiah 12:2 (WEB)
Behold, God is my salvation. I will trust, and will not be afraid;
for Yah, Yahweh, is my strength and song; and he has become my salvation.”
God takes delight in our trust in Him. Trusting God involves fully committing our lives to His care rather than attempting to manage everything ourselves. In Proverbs 3:5-6, we are urged to trust in the Lord with all our hearts and to refrain from relying on our own understanding. God desires for us to embrace His care today, instead of depending on our ability to navigate life alone.
When we recognize that our God and Father is truly trustworthy, we will not fear anything that comes our way. We will know without a doubt that the LORD is our strength, our song, and our very salvation. However, before we can fully enjoy the benefits of living a fearless life filled with God's strength and His song, we must address the issue of trust.
God desires to restore our childlike trust. The trust broken in childhood can be renewed in our relationship with our Heavenly Father, who is trustworthy in every way. My prayer is that we all trust in our Abba more today than we did yesterday, and that our ability to trust in God will grow each day for the rest of our lives.
God is our salvation. We will trust in His goodness and not be afraid. He is our strength and the song we sing every day. Hallelujah for this wonderful salvation!

Responsive Prayer:
Father, thank you for being trustworthy in every way and for being worthy of my trust. Would you bring healing to every area of broken trust I have experienced in my life, so that I can truly trust you with all my heart? As I do, I pray that I will burst into singing, boldly declaring your great love and strength, which has become my salvation in Christ.
In Jesus’ name, I pray, Amen.
