 Promise #55: I will reward those who diligently seek Me with a heart of faith. Hebrews 11:6 (WEB) Without faith it is impossible to be well pleasing to him, for he who comes to God must believe that he exists, and that he is a rewarder of those who seek him. The very foundation of our relationship with God is our faith in Him. If we don't believe that He exists, it will be difficult to cultivate a living, loving relationship with Him. Our very salvation comes through our faith, as Paul wrote in Ephesians 2:8-9... 8 for by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, 9 not of works, that no one would boast. (WEB) God loves it when we believe in Him despite what our outward circumstances might say. In Hebrews 11, we read many accounts of the heroes of faith who believed in God against all odds. I encourage you today to declare God's goodness and His love over your life whether you feel like it or not. Our feelings are not always accurate. They can deceive us at times. So stand firm today, my friend. Choose to believe that God exists and is the rewarder of those who diligently seek Him. Your faith and trust will move the heart of our God and Father like nothing else. *** Responsive Prayer: Father, thank you for always being my ever-present help in my time of need. Today, I choose to believe that you are who you say you are, and I am who you say I am in Christ. Therefore, I have nothing to fear, so I place my complete confidence in your faithfulness to watch over me no matter what comes my way today. In Jesus’ name, I pray, Amen.
