 Promise #41: I will give you peace at all times and in every situation. 2 Thessalonians 3:16 (WEB) Now may the Lord of peace himself give you peace at all times in all ways. The Lord be with you all. We live in a restless world that longs for peace. Because the Prince of Peace lives within us, we have access to a peace that is beyond our own understanding. A peace that will bring rest and tranquility to the busyness of our souls. A peace that will be a shield and a shelter for our tender hearts. In John 14:27, Jesus promises to give us His peace. In John 16:33, Jesus tells us His peace is available even in a troubled world. A peace that allows us to sleep on a boat amid a raging storm. If you are in a situation today where you need the assurance of God's peace, open your heart to God and ask Him to fill you with His peace. The peace that rests on Jesus is the peace promised to every child of God as part of our inheritance. No matter what you are going through, God promises to give you peace at all times and in every situation. As Isaiah 26:3 says...You will keep whoever’s mind is steadfast in perfect peace because he trusts in you. (WEB) *** Responsive Prayer: Father, thank you for the peace that passes my own understanding that has been given to me through my eternal union with Jesus. May the peace of Jesus guard my heart and mind today, no matter how unsettled my world is. And I ask, Father, that you would quiet my heart amid any storm I face today so that I might have your perfect peace at all times and in every situation. In Jesus’ name, I pray, Amen.
