 Promise #326: My children will overcome the world through their faith. 1 John 5:4 (WEB) For whatever is born of God overcomes the world. This is the victory that has overcome the world: your faith. By simply believing that God is who He says He is, and we are who He says we are, we overcome the world! Who is God? He is the Omnipresent, Omniscient, Omnipotent, Almighty God who happens to be our heavenly Dad. Who are we? We are His beloved children and joint heirs with our elder brother, Jesus Christ. If we truly believe this simple truth, nothing can ever overcome us! We belong to God, and He belongs to us. We are more than conquerors through Him who loved us. (Romans 8:37) And if God is for us, who can be against us! (Romans 8:31) His strength and power have already secured our victory. We just need to believe it, and through simple childlike trust, we will overcome the world through the power of God Himself that lives within us. *** Responsive Prayer: Father, thank You that I am already an overcomer because Jesus has already overcome the world, and He is my big brother. Help me to walk in the new creation reality that I am a much-loved child of God and a co-heir with Jesus in His wonderful Kingdom so that I do not get overwhelmed by the brokenness that surrounds me in the orphan-hearted world system that tries to convince me that I am not who You say I am.
