 Promise #266: I will enrich your life and renew your youth like the eagle's. Psalm 103:5 (WEB) who satisfies your desire with good things, so that your youth is renewed like the eagle’s. Eagles undergo a molting process, during which they shed their old feathers and grow new ones. This process is necessary for the eagle's rejuvenation so it can remain strong. In Psalm 103:5, King David tells us that the Lord will satisfy us with good things and renew our youth like the eagle renews its feathers. No matter how old we get, our God and Father promises to continue renewing our inner being so that we will have a spring in our step, a sparkle in our eyes, and a sense of awe and wonder about life. May each of us hold fast to this promise and not dread our future but look forward to the renewal process where our youth will be renewed, just like the eagle's! *** Responsive Prayer: Father, thank You for renewing my strength even during times when life's pressures weigh heavily on me. I pray that my inner being will be revitalized, much like an eagle's renewal process, to give me the strength and energy needed to rise above the clouds no matter what obstacles I face today.
