No, in all these things, we are more than conquerors through him who loved us.

Promise #28: You are more than a conqueror through My love in Jesus Christ.

Just before this in verse 35, Paul the Apostle talks about some of the hardships that can come against the beloved of the Lord... Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Could oppression, or anguish, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? (WEB) He responds to this question by making the declaration that is the inspiration for today's promise!

Even in the midst of all these things, we are more than conquerors through the love that God has poured out into our hearts through Jesus Christ. We are not just conquerors, we are MORE than conquerors because of the amazing love God has for us.

No matter what challenges you are facing today. God's love will conquer your situation. Nothing in all eternity is able to separate you from His amazing, uncondtional, everlasting love. My prayer today is that we would be overwhelmed with a tangible sense of His closeness.  May we join in the words that Paul the Apostle wrote 2,000 years ago and say together... 'We are more than conquerors through Him who loved us!'
